Analysis on the Influence of Remote 110kV Substation on Transformer DC Bias

High voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system has the advantages of large capacity, long distance and low loss. Relying on HVDC transmission, China established a large-scale energy channel in west, effectively solving problem uneven local distribution. However, will generate ground when it is operating single pole, which cause DC bias effect transformer. At this time, core magnetic circuit transformer saturated. Transformers experience increased vibration, noise, overheating, surge harmonics. This paper, based Jinhua project as background, power grid topology model Zhejiang area field-circuit coupling method. The focus calculating Shenze transformers area, proposing treatment measures calculation results. According to actual measurement project, accuracy result verified, reflects effectiveness governance measures.
